The Food Pantry of North Branford is located in the former Police Station at 260 Forest Road in Northford. Its mission is to provide free supplemental groceries to those in need. The Board of Directors, the Pantry Director and all other staff are volunteers. 100% of all food and monetary donations are used for our clients. We are a member of the Connecticut Food Bank and receive free or low cost food from it. We have retail partnerships with Big Y and Ceccarelli Farm. Shopping is always client choice and we do not pre-package bags of food.
Lifebridge Community Services - Greater New Haven: Meals on Wheels/Family Fare Programs. Information Provided by: United Way of Connecticut. 1. Meals on Wheels: Delivers a hot meal 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, to older homebound adults ages 60+; Meals can be prepared according to doctor's recommendation. No holiday deliveries. 2. Family Fare: Offers the delivery of fresh prepared meals on a fee for service basis and can also accommodate needed therapeutic diets. This service is full fee and there are no restrictions. Hours: Monday through Friday: 9 am to 4 pm.
