PATTI SCHAEFER RECOGNIZED FOR 31 YEARS OF SERVICE TO NB
NORTH BRANFORD – Town Manager Michael Downes and the North Branford Town Council recognized the service of Patti Schaefer to the Town at their August 1st meeting. Schafer was presented a plaque honoring her for her dedicated service of 31 years upon the occasion of her retirement.
Schaefer served for 15 years in the Town’s Finance Department handling Accounts Payable. Prior to this post, she was hired in 1992 by the Board of Education and managed the Stanley T. Williams cafeteria, then the NBIS cafeteria until 2000. That year she took on the post of dispatcher with the North Branford Police Department where she remained until 2008 when she took on the Finance position.
Schaefer lived in Town for 20 years, and with her husband raised their children who are all graduates of the North Branford school system. Patti has been a positive and energetic member of the Town Hall family, and will be missed by all as we wish her a happy retirement.
