North Branford Observes POW-MIA Recognition Day
On the morning of Friday, September 15th, local leaders joined in remembering North Branford's only MIA casualty, Army SFC James Edward Creamer, who went MIA on April 21, 1968 in Thua Thien Province in Vietnam.
Gathered at the North Branford POW monument to remember SFC Creamer's service and sacrifice were (L-R):Town Councilors Rose Angeloni and Nick Palladino, Mayor Jeff Macmillen, Army SFC Tomas Gomez, Veteran Andy Macmillen, Town Manager Michael Downes, and Veterans Bill Savastano and Chuck Larkins.
Andy Macmillen was close friends with SFC Creamer and they both enlisted in the Army together during the Vietnam conflict.
